I am a Registered Nurse with 44 years of experience. For the past 28 years, I have worked in the OR department at the Washington Hospital Center. 

I am a mother of 4 and a proud grandma to 6 beautiful grandchildren. I have a big family that I love to host and cook for. I love traveling with my husband. We often take road trips and hike through National Parks. 

My hobbies are reading books, writing “Afsaney,” and planting flowers, vegetables, fruits & trees. I feel that I have a special connection and place for nature.  

I am loving, caring, and kind. I love helping people and have done plenty of charitable work throughout my life.

Being on a Board of Directors at Help and Heal Corporation has given me an excellent chance to help the women and children of disadvantaged communities. 

I am grateful and excited to be a part of a team that promotes education for children and believes that no one should have to sleep hungry or starve.
